How do you define strength? What makes you strong? What happens to you physically when you feel strong, and when you don’t? How can you summon strength when you need it?
In this two-part afternoon workshop, we’ll explore the subject of strength using the powerful practices of conscious breathing and expressive writing.
Breath Lab is all about trying new ways of breathing, supported by simple but potent exercises to increase body awareness. It’s intense, physical, and fun – intimate, yet designed to bump you out of your comfort zone and literally expand your world.
In Narra Lab we use writing as a tool to dig deep, examine our lives, and hear our own voices, putting words to things we know, believe, or have experienced, things that sometimes remain hidden and vague, yet determine our behavior and affect our image of ourselves and the world. You don’t need any formal writing experience or training to participate.
