Narra Lab: Invent/ory
14:30 - 17:00
Centre Wild Flower
A new year is approaching. Mid-December is a good time to take stock, remind yourself of what direction you’d like to be heading in, re-set you compass. If this speaks to you, then join me for the last Narra Lab of the season. In this writing for wellbeing workshop, you’ll think and write about what’s gone on in the past year, what worked, what didn’t, what you can learn from it, what you want to bring with you into 2018, and what you want to make sure stays behind. But no dour reckoning, this! Let’s have some fun and look into the past for some old friends — qualities and desires and ways of being — that may have gotten lost through the years. Let’s dare to imagine how we want the next year to be. Let’s take on the question of “What am I doing with my life?” but hold it all very, very lightly. And write. And drink tea. And eat cookies.
The Narra Lab will be followed by a Breath Lab, featuring exercises to help you identify your breathing patterns and shake them up a bit, along with some ways to use your lungs to get your body and mind humming. You can come to one Lab or the other, or join us for both.
